Sales teams live in their pipeline, but most CRMs bury it under forms and stale dashboards. We wanted to prove a different category: a fast, near-silent command tool where reps drag deals through Lead → Qualified → Proposal → Won and always know what the pipeline is worth and what to do next. The buyers are revenue leaders and founders who want clarity without admin drag.

Cadence is a four-stage deal board with draggable cards, per-column value totals, and a weighted-pipeline forecast that recompute on every move. Each card shows the company, contact, owner, win-probability, and a single AI-generated next step. An inline add-deal form, an owner filter, instant search, and full keyboard control (⌘-style hints, Enter to advance a stage, N to add, / to search) make it feel like an internal tool a senior team would actually run their week from.

Deals live in a JavaScript state model and the board re-renders on every change, so dragging a card between columns instantly updates stage totals, the weighted forecast, and the count badges. Drag-and-drop uses the native HTML5 API with keyboard-movable cards for accessibility. The AI next step is a deterministic rule engine keyed on stage, deal value, and contact — a faithful stand-in for the LLM function-calling we wire up in production. The whole thing is one self-contained file with zero external JS libraries.
