Any business that holds physical goods lives or dies by knowing exactly what is on the shelf right now. Warehouse managers, e-commerce operators and retail buyers all need the same loop: find a SKU, adjust the count as stock moves, and get warned before anything runs out. Inventory management is the commerce layer that turns a pile of products into numbers you can trust.

StockPilot is a single-screen stock console: an add-product form and a value-by-category chart on the left, a searchable stock table on the right, and a KPI strip across the top. You can search by name, SKU or category, adjust any item up or down with +/- steppers, add a new SKU with its own auto-generated code and reorder point, and flip a one-tap filter to see only items that need reordering. Active SKUs, units on hand, total stock value and the reorder count all recompute live.

All state lives in a plain JavaScript array of item objects, each carrying quantity, unit cost and a reorder threshold. Every quantity change recomputes derived status — in stock, reorder or out — which paints the row, swaps the badge and updates the KPIs and CSS-bar category chart. Search filters by a combined name/SKU/category string, and the low-stock toggle simply hides anything still above threshold. No libraries, no build step, no server.
