A bold, touch-first café register: tap big tactile product tiles to ring items up, nudge quantities with chunky +/- steppers, drop in a promo code, then charge and print a clean itemized receipt. Subtotal, discount, tax and total recalculate on every tap.
Any business that sells across a counter — cafés, bars, boutiques, food trucks, pop-ups — needs a register a new hire can run on day one. The job is simple and unforgiving: ring up items fast, handle quantities and discounts without a calculator, take payment, and hand over a receipt. A point-of-sale system is the cash drawer, menu and bookkeeper rolled into one screen an operator taps all shift.
RegisterOne is a working café register styled like a real iPad terminal — a deep-ink shell with big, bright, chunky tiles in electric blue, lime and hot coral that press down when you tap them. A category-tabbed grid drops items onto the order ticket with a live quantity badge; the ticket has large +/- steppers and remove buttons, a promo-code field with real validation (try WELCOME10, HAPPYHOUR or FIVEOFF), and oversized tabular totals for subtotal, discount, tax and total. Hitting Charge prints an itemized receipt with an auth code and transaction ID, then New Sale rolls the order number forward.
The full menu lives as a JavaScript catalog priced in integer cents to avoid rounding drift. The cart is a sku-to-quantity map; tabs filter the grid, taps mutate the cart, and a single compute step derives subtotal, percentage-or-flat discount, tax and total that re-render the ticket on every change. The printable receipt is built from the same line items and sent through the browser print dialog with a print-only stylesheet, and prefers-reduced-motion is honored. No libraries, no build step, no server.
This is a functional prototype that demonstrates the point-of-sale category — a capability demo, not a client deployment. Romanov Solutions builds, clones, customizes and integrates production POS systems fully custom-fit to your floor: barcode scanning, real card-reader and Stripe Terminal payments, inventory and stock counts, modifiers, multi-register and offline sync, tax tables and back-office reporting. Lease it, try it free, buy the code outright, or have us build it new.
